Channels will lose monetization when they violate any of the YouTube channel monetization policies. If this isn’t your first application to be rejected, or you’ve previously re-applied, you can try again after a 90-day period. We’ll get back to you with a decision once your channel is reviewed (typically in about 1 month). Once done, you’ll see In Progress in the Get Reviewed step, which means we have your application! You’ll get an email once you’ve met either of the below eligibility thresholds.

If you violate a different policy after completing the training, you will get another warning. You will have the option to take a policy training to allow the warning to expire after 90 days. If this is your first time violating our Community Guidelines, you’ll likely get a warning with no penalty to your channel. If the primary purpose is educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic in nature, we may allow content that includes harassment.
